District 12 didn't seem like a place where homosexuality was prevalent. Katniss still remembers that she owes her life to peeta, but she knows that it will seem hypocritical to thank him now.

Protagonist of the book and is a strong independent and quiet female. Haymitch abernathy — katniss and peeta's mentor in the hunger games. He is also generous becasue he lets katniss live because katniss tell him what he did to rue and he lets her go becasue he has feelings and he sees that.

He was the only living victor in district 12 before katniss and peeta. Gale is also skillful because he is a good hunter he knows how to make traps and he knows what is good and whats. Tresh is strong and he is generous he is strong because he is really big and has a lot of muslce and he has gotten bigger in the games because he has been eating.

He is caring because when katniss has to go in the games he is going to help her out by feeding and takeing car of her family. Katniss everdeen and peeta mellark's unprecedented dual victory in the 74th hunger games has given the people of the districts hope for change and a fire to oppose the oppressive capitol. The son of a baker, peeta belongs to the merchant class of the district.

Katniss and her family are from district 12 which is one of the poorest in panem. Haymitch is their mentor throughout the hunger games and catching fire. I think finnick was hired as a male lover in the capitol for men and women.

Gale is katniss best friends in the book. Room for students to write who the character is, what he/she looks like, notable actions/quotes, and who it reminds them of. The male tribute chosen to represent district 12 in the hunger games, and katniss's closest companion during the event.
